The Centre for Digital Media and Design offers a number of part-time courses that are delivered in the evenings over the two annual semesters.

New evening courses for 2011:

Statement of Attainment in Screen and Media (Animation 1)
Statement of Attainment in Graphic Design Foundation (Typography 1)

Each course runs for one evening per week (6pm - 9pm) for 12 months, commencing in February, with another group starting in July.
Entry to these courses is open, with no prerequisites and no portfolio required. Each course represents one quarter of the full-time Certificate 4 courses that run during the day. On successful completion, students will be credited with a number of units at Certificate IV level.

TVET

The CDMD also works closely with schools to offer introductory vocational education studies in Screen and Media studies and Entertainment (TVET). Course number 19242, 4 hours per week for 12 months, qualification is the Certificate 2 in Creative Industries (Media); Course number 7490, 4 hours per week for 12 months, qualification is the Certificate 2 in Live Production, Theatre and Events, for year 11 students; Course number 7491 follows on from 7490, is 4 hours per week for 12 months, and gives a Certificate 3 in Live production, Theatre and Events for year 12 students.
