CDMD DELIVERS BACHELOR DEGREE
2010 has seen the CDMD once again expand its offering with the introduction of the Bachelor of Digital Media, a joint program delivered by the University of Wollongong and TAFE NSW Illawarra Institute. The Centre for Digital Media and Design is situated on the Wollongong TAFE campus, in Block Q on the second level. The recently refurbished facilities include three state of the art Macintosh computer labs, a Blue Screen video studio and an animation studio.
At the CDMD we teach the creative application of computer imaging in research and production covering a broad range of Digital Media and Graphic Design vocations. There are two strands of study: Screen and Media covers Animation and short Film and Video production, while Graphic Design covers Publication and Web design. Each strand provides the option of three years full-time study, culminating in an Advanced Diploma.
TVET Entertainment Industry C2 is available for year 11 and 12 HSC students.This runs on one evening per week for two years, and is credited towards the HSC. All enquiries should be made through your school Careers Adviser.

The application process consists of two stages:
Stage 1 – Application and Portfolio CD-ROM
Stage 2 – Formal interview, portfolio presentation and computer literacy test
